Chloé Tulimieri
Clinical Intern
Hello (: My name is Chloé, my pronouns are they/them. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler University and a Sex Therapy Certificate through ASSECT.
My Queer identity shapes the foundation of my work as a counselor; centering liberation, authenticity, empowerment, and curiosity. I am passionate about working with Queer individuals, couples, and polycules.
I believe counseling is a collaborative process that relies on the relationship between counselor and client. I also believe that who we are cannot be separated from the world around us. I strive to create an inclusive and affirming environment where people of all genders, sexual orientations, racial and ethnic backgrounds, abilities, ages, religions, and cultural identities feel welcome. I am committed to approaching our work with openness, humility, and respect. My goal is to co-create a space with my clients where they feel understood, supported, and courageous.
When you work with me, you can expect a counselor who is genuine, compassionate, curious, and willing to hold you accountable as we work toward the changes that matter to you most.
Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other, clarify your goals, and see if we feel like we are a good fit for your journey. From there we will explore together how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences influence important pockets of your life. No problem is too big or too small to bring into therapy. I look forward to connecting with you.
