Founded in 2017, Arcus Behavioral Health & Wellness (ABHW) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, free-standing, community-based mental health agency based in Lincoln Square in Chicago. The organization operates with the mission of providing high quality mental health care to underserved/low-income clients and families, particularly ethnic and cultural minorities including LGBTQ+. ABHW has increased access to behavioral health care by addressing the mental health needs of ethnic and cultural minorities. Over 30% of our clients are ethnic minorities and about 40% identify as LGBTQ. Many of our clients consider themselves both ethnic and sexual/gender minorities.
ABHW is currently seeking doctoral level candidates for long-term employment but will consider highly qualified licensed masters level clinicians. The clinical therapist will be a W2 employee of ABHW. Upon reaching full time employment status via building their caseload, the employee will be eligible for a competitive package of benefits, including very competitive wages, public service loan forgiveness eligibility, medical/life/dental/vision insurance, generous paid time off, and more. We are open to hiring postdoctoral candidates in need of clinical supervision; however, this position is intended for candidates seeking long-term employment or for those who are already clinically licensed.
